People-facing intensity scores how much of the degree’s craft sits with patients, pupils, clients, audiences or communities — not whether the field is “nice.” Medicine, nursing, education, social work, hospitality and many psychology tracks score high; lab-heavy or code-heavy fields can still include clinics or user research without topping the axis.
