Bacteriophages ? Viruses that infect bacteria — Earth's most abundant biological entities, and a concept-level idea in medicine.

Every millilitre of seawater and every gram of stool holds phages. They are part of the human microbiome as predators of our bacteria, not as human viruses.

Phage therapy — using phages against bacterial infection — is experimental or compassionate-use in most countries. This page does not tell anyone how to obtain or apply phages.
