The club that pulled Polish handball into Europe's top tier. Founded in 1965, it plays at the 4,200-seat Hala Legionow, on the smaller side among the men's clubs on this list. Its 21 Polish league titles are a national record, and it has also won the Polish Cup 18 times. Its European breakthrough came at the 2016 Cologne FINAL4, where it overturned a deficit in extra time against Veszprem in the final to become the first Polish club to win the Champions League. It reached the final again in 2022 and 2023 but lost to Barcelona and Magdeburg respectively. The architect behind all of it was head coach Talant Dujshebaev, who led the team for twelve years, with his two sons Alex and Daniel forming the team's on-court axis. Dujshebaev departed the club in April 2026.
