Major honours
A professional sprint club Glen Mills built in Kingston, and the single organization that has produced the greatest sprinter in the sport's history. Mills took in a teenage Usain Bolt after a poor showing at Athens 2004, rebuilding his scoliosis, poor posture and reputation as strictly a 200m specialist all at once; four years later Bolt won both the 100m and 200m in world-record times at Beijing. Racers trains on an unremarkable track at the University of the West Indies' Mona campus, its results built not on lavish facilities but on one coach's technical corrections and Jamaica's characteristic training volume. Beyond Bolt, the club produced Yohan Blake, the 2011 Daegu World Championship 100m champion, Warren Weir, the 2012 London 200m bronze medallist, and relay runner Nesta Carter. The club's global profile has faded noticeably since Bolt's 2017 retirement, but the three world records still standing today — 9.58 seconds for 100m, 19.19 for 200m, and 36.84 for the 4x100m relay — were all set on Racers' training ground.

The rivalry with fellow Kingston club MVP Track Club is Jamaican athletics itself — Bolt and Asafa Powell, Mills and Stephen Francis, met head-on every year at Jamaica's national trials, with athletes from the two clubs joining forces only on the national relay team.
