How

Tag or park brief first, then a cut, a wall or a planned wreck.

The method is a park ticket (Bonaire tag, Hol Chan, Cozumel park), then a choice among a cut snorkel, a current wall, or a purpose-sunk wreck. Cruise-ship hours are a crowd condition, not a skill.

A first day belongs on a Bonaire shore or a Hol Chan shallows, not on a deep wall drop.

Steps

  1. Pay the tag and hear the park

Bonaire, Hol Chan, Cozumel each have a sentence.

A cruise wristband is not a park brief.

  2. Enter on sand or a ladder

Never on living coral. See reef-etiquette.

Bonaire yellow stones mark many entries.

  3. Drift walls as briefed

Palancar and Bloody Bay are current products.

SMB if the boat says so.

  4. Wrecks: planned vs grave

Kittiwake is a 2011 classroom. War wrecks are a different manners.

  5. Rays and sharks: distance

Shark Ray Alley and Stingray City are habituated sites with tightening rules.

    No grabbing.

  6. End before the cruise tender scrum if possible

    Crowd is a condition.

    Morning is the Caribbean craft.

Common mistakes

The method is a tag and a morning. The deep wall is a later exam.
