Major honours
Formed over the winter of 2002 after Mapei withdrew, when sport director Patrick Lefevere brought in Belgian flooring brand Quick-Step as title sponsor. Known as "The Wolfpack", the team has largely ceded Grand Tour general-classification ambitions in favour of concentrating its resources on one-day races and stage hunting, and has stayed near the top of the sport's win count for more than two decades as a result. Tom Boonen won Paris-Roubaix four times (2005, 2008, 2009, 2012) and the Tour of Flanders three times, Stijn Devolder won back-to-back Flanders titles in 2008 and 2009, and Niki Terpstra (2014) and Philippe Gilbert (2019) added further Roubaix wins. Paolo Bettini took the 2003 Milan-San Remo and Il Lombardia in 2005 and 2006, and Julian Alaphilippe won the 2019 Milan-San Remo and back-to-back world titles in 2020 and 2021. Remco Evenepoel gave Belgium its first Grand Tour overall win since 1978 with the 2022 Vuelta, and added the world title the same year.

Rivalry
The current axis is the spring-classics rivalry with Alpecin-Deceuninck. In the 2000s, the Roubaix-Flanders duopoly between Boonen and Fabian Cancellara dominated Belgian cycling's entire season.
