The team that balanced Edin's Sweden in European men's curling through the 2020s. Bruce Mouat formed a team in Edinburgh in 2017 straight out of the junior ranks, immediately winning three straight Scottish championships from 2018, and taking four European titles, in 2018, 2021, 2022 and 2023. World titles followed in Ottawa in 2023 and Moose Jaw in 2025, adding a runner-up finish in Calgary in 2021 and bronze in Las Vegas in 2018 for four career medals. At the Olympics the team has reached the final twice and lost both times: to Sweden 4-5 in extra time at Beijing 2022, and to Canada 6-9 at Milan-Cortina 2026, taking silver on each occasion. Bobby Lammie and Hammy McMillan Jr. were long-time teammates, and Mouat also won the 2021 world mixed doubles title with Jennifer Dodds.

Rivalry

Niklas Edin's Sweden was a repeated opponent at both the world championship and the Olympics, symbolised by conceding a steal in extra time in the 2022 Beijing final. In 2026 Brad Jacobs' Canada blocked the team in a final once again.
