Craft for Gourmand is solvent, steam, headspace and dose — not a mood.
The six steps below are a studio loop; they are not a safety sheet.
Methods
- Candy + dirt — Cresp’s lesson: maltol needs patchouli or it is a candle.
- Iris or almond tilt — La Vie vs Poison.
- Salt and sesame — 2020s adulting of dessert.
- Flanker logic — Same sweet chassis, new fruit top.
- IFRA sweets — Some balsams and heliotropin recut.
Steps
- Put dirt under sugar
Patch, coffee, or salt.
Or it is a body mist.
- Cap maltol
It grows in the bottle and the room.
One more drop is a carnival.
- Choose a dessert
Chocolate, praline, almond, candyfloss.
A buffet is a candle shop.
- Keep citrus or iris handy
Adults the icing.
La Vie’s iris is not decoration.
- Test in a closed office
Gourmands are courtesy problems.
One spray may be the formula.
- Don’t layer lotion dessert
Matching sets become syrup.
Skin only, or unscented cream.
Limits
- Courtesy sillage — Angel folklore exists because of maltol + patch.
- Candle bleed — Home scent ate the family’s dignity for a decade.
- Diabetes jokes — The copy problem is real; the chemistry is not a joke.
A good Gourmand formula knows its IFRA ceiling before it knows its ad.
