Reponses courtes
Quelle autorité ou quel corridor local compte pour ce type ?
Commencez par la lentille locale : homologation, licences et hubs — pas une checklist mondiale.
Is this a buying guide?
No. Tool-Lifes /vehicles is an educational atlas. It explains history, systems and culture without affiliate rankings.
Are the scores official?
No. The six scores are relative editorial 0–100 marks across the 48 types on this site.
Where do the photos come from?
Lead images resolve from Wikimedia Commons via Wikipedia titles on the English masters, with licences recorded on the credits page.
Why metric units?
Metric is the default. Regional notes (US customary, local brand culture) appear in culture and market chapters.
How is this different from a wiki article?
Each type gets seven fixed-depth chapters, comparable scores and cross-type labs — structured for browsing, not a single freeform page.
Sur Aéroglisseur, propulsion, structure, commande et sécurité partagent la même enveloppe d'exploitation.
Les jauges résument marge structurelle, maintenabilité et facteurs humains en score relatif.
Systèmes
Structure
Aéroglisseur: A light alloy or composite box gives reserve buoyancy if the cushion collapses. It is not a planing hull: most of the weight sits on air, not on displacement.
Propulsion
Aéroglisseur: Centrifugal or axial fans feed a plenum. Segmented skirt fingers hold the cushion and wear out against sand, ice and debris.
Énergie
Aéroglisseur: Ducted or open air propellers (or water jets on sidewall craft) provide thrust after the craft is off the hump. Lift and thrust are often separate power paths.
Commande
Aéroglisseur: Rudders in the propeller slipstream, puff ports, or differential thrust yaw the craft. There is little keel grip, so wind sets the drift.
Interface
Aéroglisseur: Pressure is weight divided by cushion area. A tear or a finger loss dumps lift on one side and the hull drops.
Sécurité
Aéroglisseur: The same skirt that crosses a beach also ingests stones and weed. Ramps, not deep quays, are the terminal.
Indicateurs relatifs
Points chauds
Aéroglisseur: Skirt finger wear
Aéroglisseur: Torn fingers leak cushion air and raise fuel burn before the craft refuses to lift.
Aéroglisseur: Hump transition
Aéroglisseur: Drag peaks while climbing onto the cushion; underpowered craft stay stuck in the hump.
Aéroglisseur: Plough-in
Aéroglisseur: A nose-down pitch in waves can dig the bow skirt and yaw the craft violently.
Aéroglisseur: Propeller debris
Aéroglisseur: Open air props ingest spray and loose gear; ducted fans still need intake screens.
Aéroglisseur: Crosswind drift
Aéroglisseur: Low water grip means a beam wind slides the craft off the intended track.
Matériaux
Aéroglisseur: Skirt elastomer
Aéroglisseur: Coated fabric fingers are a scheduled spare, not a lifetime hull plate.
Aéroglisseur: Marine aluminium
Aéroglisseur: Buoyancy boxes stay light so lift power stays modest.
Aéroglisseur: Lift-fan impellers
Aéroglisseur: Composite or metal fans sized for pressure, not for cruise speed.
Aéroglisseur: Ducted propellers
Aéroglisseur: Shrouds cut tip losses and keep people clear of blades at a beach terminal.
