業務報告・広告・課題では順序ある出来事、時代、マイルストーン。日付ではなく変化する量が必要なときときは別の形を選ぶ。
Parts
- マーク — The core mark of タイムライン is 順序づけられた時間軸上の位置.
- 尺度 — The scale must show zero (or a declared break) and units.
- 軸 — Axis titles name the variable, not a mood.
- 凡例 — A legend is weaker than a direct label. Write beside the mark when you can.
- ラベル — Numbers are optional. If comparison is the job, label the ends only.
- 格子 — Keep the grid faint. Data should own the ink.
- 注釈 — One annotation sentence. Date the source.
- 枠 — A thin frame. Never a 3-D box.
