本实验室检查什么
- Sound
Say it aloud in the languages the person will live in. Stress, rhythm and lookalikes matter more than a pretty spelling.
- Meaning
A gloss is a cultural story, not a personality forecast. Check what the name means to the family that will use it.
- Uniqueness
Rarity can be distinctive and also costly to spell. Fashion moves; today’s unusual name is often tomorrow’s neighbour.
- Family fit
Sibling sets, generation names and two-surname systems should match on purpose — or be dropped on purpose.
- Nickname
Decide which short forms you will accept in classrooms and workplaces. Silence here is how unwanted nicknames win.
- Initials
Monograms, email prefixes and jersey letters are public. Read the initials aloud before you lock the string.
- Legality
Registries, character lists and “real name” policies differ by country and platform. This check is a prompt, not counsel.
- Cultural respect
Borrowing a name from a community you do not belong to can be homage or harm. Ask living speakers, not a baby-name blog.
